Hi, I'm new to the game and I was just wondering about downloading the Forbidden Cults DLC—will I be able to access it's content on existing characters, or will it only be available for newly created characters?
I searched the forum and couldn't find an exact answer to this question, but forgive me if I missed something!

Hey this definitely qualified as a dumb question! Right in big bold print at the bottom of the page on the DLC downloads on Te4.org:
"Remember that addons & DLCs only activate on new characters."

Yes, unfortunately DLCs and/or addons can only be activated on new characters.
The only way for you to force-activate any new DLCs/addons on existing characters is to mess up directly with the save files. Which, I should point out, may or may not work at all..
So best to just create a new character with roughly the same build if you want to play similar character with the new DLCs.
