How do I know if Im playing the expansion

I have two questions, each one dumber than the other.

How do i know if im playing the expansion? is it the case that if its enabled in adons then it loads when i start a new game?

also is there a way to move diagonal using just the keyboard?

If on the character creation screen you can see the demented class tab, doom bringer under defilers, and the EoR campaign, then you have all of the dlc enabled.
If your keyboard has a numpad, you can move with that diagonally with 7,9,1,3 and press 5 in the middle to wait too.
