[Demonologist] A question about Osmosis Shield

Hi, folks. I'm trying to get a handle on Demonologist and struggling. Osmosis shield says, "This spell disabled automatically on rest or run." But if I activate it, then fight, then rest, my vim gets drained to 0 very quickly. As far as I can tell, it is disabled at the END of a rest, not the beginning. Is this how it's supposed to work?

it is how it currently works but not how it's supposed to.

i think it was said to be patched in next DLC update. But don't quote me on it.
