Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this as of 1.6 supposed to be locked until level 25+? The encounter appeared for my lvl 24 Necromancer, with 40-70% ish experience. Is this a bug?

On other news, I believe that, even if I died, I was pretty damn good until the end. First floor had one corruptor and one blood mage together with two guards as soon as I entered the level, and it had like four or five rares. Everyone was level 40+. Only the first level. F0ck this place.

But I cleared the first level. What ultimately killed me was a chest elite RandBoss that was a corruptor/mindslayer and I think archmage? He also had an item that spawned a mist that put me to sleep. He had 2000hp, and in the end I got him down to 300-400hp. So close.

I normally play roguelike nightmare, but I'm doing adventure nightmare this time to try to figure things out better and avoid frustration.

I'm my humble opinion, Dark Crypt should be spawned on level 30+. But don't nerf the enemies. That would leave out the tension and feeling of despair.

30+ would just further encourage the upper tier junk spawning, far as I'm aware. It might actually make the crypt harder. You'd have more corruptors/blood mages, fewer whatever-those-speedbump-melee-ones-are.

Definitely don't open chests in there if you're not facerolling the place, tho', unless you don't care about losing a life. Therein lies death :P
