Ranged ability on melee classes?

Can a Berserker etc use a ranged weapon? If so how do I get the "shoot" ability?

You can use ranged weapons on melee classes, although you're usually better served by using Rush/movement infusions/Step up to charge people. You can get the Shoot talent for eight(8) gold at any of the weapon stores in Last Hope. In practice, this is only helpful for some types of adventurers and maybe a gimmicky mindslayer or something.

Does Berserker Rage even work with a Bow?

Anyway, Rogues actually come with a Sling equipped and knowing Shoot. I've never used it though, and throwing knives work better for the class.
