Reflection Rune - reflected damage type

#1 Post by Steven Aus »

Is the damage returned by the Reflection Rune the same type as the damage that was done? Or physical? Or a generic type that only "resist all" resists (or not)?

Just wondering whether I should use it against, for example, Luminous or Radiant Horrors, whose damage type they also have affinity to.

It reflects as Arcane damage which is easy to see in the combat log :)

The Reflection Skin thing of Amathon on the other hand reflects as the same damage type it seems.

Thanks, I didn't notice the colour, but I hadn't looked closely.

AFAIK Reflective Skin is a Golem skill, so it would probably be the same for all golems - reflecting back the same type. So it means if you have an affinity to the damage you are doing, you might be able to heal from attacking a unit with Reflective Skin sustained. :)

Yeah, I did this trick as Necro against Automaton.
English isn't my native language.
