Is it possible to possess bosses?

Playing as possessor, it it practically possible to store bosses? You need talent level 7, but 1.3 x 5 = 6.5.

You can put a cat point into a category in order to increase its mastery or find an amulet that increases mastery. The second is a much better solution.
