Steamtech in the main campaign?

I can't find steamtech stuff in the main campaign, even if I start as a tinker, the only stuff I find is from zigur patrols (guns and saw) not a single steam generator , I'm using the gog version, can you help me? thanks in advance

Have you found a Tinkerer Escort yet? I noticed that playing on a recent run I wasn't finding anything Tinker related, but then I found a Tinkerer Escort, learned where they obtained the skills, obtained the skills myself... and then get flooded with Tinkerer related drops.

The game will randomly generate EoR items as loot if you have any Steamtech categories (even locked). If you're playing a Tinker class, you should be getting these items as loot sometimes. The shops won't sell these items though. Could it be that you just haven't killed enough enemies to get these as random drops?

If you're playing a class that doesn't start with any Steamtech categories, you need to rescue a tinker escort before these items will start dropping.

Steam generators are fairly uncommon. I don't presume to know the numbers at all, but I'd say they're about as likely to drop as an acid wave rune.

Edit: Yes I found a a schematic and a steam generator but I can't get a tinker escort?

what should I do?
I also get this glitch when I activate psionic disruption

That popup is from some addon. You're not normally able to select which escort you get. The addon creator would need to make changes to allow selecting a tinker.

Alternatively, you could disable that addon and use this one instead. It will let you select a tinker, although escorts after the first will still be random.

Thanks, I'm tired to wait for first Tinker escort as Necromancer, usually it takes hours without savescumming (restart character who has two escorts in TYrollmire) and around half an hour with it.

You could act as Isaid - create character untill you create that one who have two escorts in Trollmire, then just "restart with same character" - it still has same two escorts in Trollmire but different.
Repeat untill you get Tinker escort in Trollmire.

Have you unlocked the ability to even get tinker escorts in AoA? You need to complete some things in EoR first...

Maybe that unlock addon missed that unlock. In any case, you need to beat the boss of the outpost area with 2 tinker classes.

Wait, come to think of it, that may just be the way to unlock tinker classes in AoA. I think the tinker escorts might be unlocked by beating embers. Thing is you have an addon that ignores race/class unlocks, but I'm not sure, but I think tinker escorts might be unlocked by beating embers. Still, a tinker escort shouldn't be needed if you are playing a tinker class for tinker stuff to drop.

The screenshot he posted pretty explicitly says that tinker escorts are also unlocked.
