Thalore Doomed - betray Antimagic ecords

I am not getting the option to betray the escorts, which confuses me. Usually this is unlocked right from the get go and I don't need to finish the antimagic quest before getting this option.

I am playing around with a Thalore+Doomed champ. It is not a problem with other champs and I have already read the Zigur signpost.


What am I missing?

maybe you have a rune as inscription? this will disqualify, same as any learned spells or spells which you got in your bar from tools (like strike? afaik which uses mana - bar for example)

just to make sure that al options were checked.

your escort, was a magic user right? because you can't betray thiefs, warriors, whoever else has absolutely no magic.

I had a rune. I guess that was it. I never realized, that this also count!


Just another question to make sure I am not missing something else: Does wearing Arcane powered items disqualify me?

No, wearing an arcane powered item does not disqualify you from finding Zigur on the map, nor betraying escorts. Finding an artifact that grants you a magic/spell talent (not as a power but as an actual talent) will disqualify you.
