Tooth of the Mouth

#1 Post by Cat Zangetsu »

Not sure if spoiler but is it true that Tooth of the Mouth gives you a chance to breathe fire if your empty handed? I was leveling Yeek, which I rarely play, and when I became disarmed due to an acidic attack, I started breathing fire. The only thing I could attribute it to was the mysterious pick axe that i had previously equipped. I looked on the wiki and didn't find a mention of this though.

Tooth of the Mouth does not do this, the effect was on your gloves. If you become disarmed, melee attacks use your gloves. (which ahve stats, though you lack the mastery for them)

This includes using any on-hit effects on your gloves.

If you play the Brawler class or select Flexible Combat prodigy you'll suddenly see an extra set of stats on gloves showing how much damage they do and special effects they can trigger. But even without that, any punch any character throws can set off the spells/abilities of gloves.

It's similar to how if you play a class that uses shields offensively like Bulwarks you'll see an extra set of stats on shields showing how much damage they do and what special effects they can trigger.
