Silence Skill

Somehow I got the Psionic Skill Silence during the battle with the Weirdling Beast on my Shalore Alchemist. According to the wiki, it's an NPC only skill. None of my gear says anything about Silence, nor does it show up on my Level up screen. It DOES show up if I inspect my character Talents sheet though.

What happened? Is this a bug? A new feature (haven't played for over 6mo, and this is my first game since buying the expansion).

i don't know of any item that could do that, but have you checked for "when carried" items?

It can appear on Torques.

Ah, Housepet got it. It was a pink Torque. Kinda weird that there's no skill description or mouseover info, but it does show it grants +2 to silence. Well, I did post in Dumb questions.
