I'm not fully understanding these new items introduced. Firstly, medical injectors - you have to have one each for every salve you use? And it just determines the efficiency and cooldown of said salve?
Then Steam Generators - can you have more than 1 going at the same time?
Sorry if I'm using incorrect/incomplete terms, I forget the exact names. I'll check back and edit after I play again.

Medical Injectors and Steam Generators questions

Re: Medical Injectors and Steam Generators questions
Medical Injectors and Salves are separate. You can use a Salve if you have an Injector that isn't on cooldown, the Salve then uses that Injector's stats.
You can have two Steam Generators.

Re: Medical Injectors and Steam Generators questions
It might help to remember that they're really just different types of inscription. You can have up to two generators and two injectors, just like you can only have two of the same kind of rune or infusion.
Steam Generators are pretty much mana surge runes with much higher regen, and a much smaller surge (both fitting steam as a very different resource than mana).
Salves are just items in your inventory (which incidentally means you can't use them when you can't use items, like while you're asleep), but unlike most items you can't use them directly. Instead, you use them through your injectors. Using a salve puts one of your injectors on cooldown based on that salve's cooldown multiplied by the injectors cooldown percentage. Likewise, the injector's efficiency percentage multiplies the salves effect, like you would expect. So you want a high efficiency, low cooldown injector.

Re: Medical Injectors and Steam Generators questions
Ohhhh that's why when I used one salve it wasn't triggering a cooldown! Because I had two injectors so it just put one on cooldown. Then if I used the other salve it triggered a cooldown because both injectors were used.
