Is there a quick way to switch from ranged to melee?

Have a really dumb question? Ask it here to get help from the experts (or those with too much time on their hands)

Is there a quick way to switch from ranged to melee?

#1 Post by ChaunceyK »

I've been using the I-key for inventory, then clicking the button to switch, then hitting ESC to go back to the map. This gives my foes a free turn to move/attack, presumably because I'm switching weapons (which I'm fine with because it makes sense that it takes time to switch weapons), but is there an easier way?

I believe 'q' is the default binding to swap. It still takes a turn, yes, but is much faster than opening your inventory to do it.
<astralInferno> poor stunt
<astralInferno> you suffer so that others may suffer in the intended way

if warden is a valid answer...
there are some weapons (may be limited to bow) that allow you to switch your sets instantly.
not super often, but they hapen.

there's also a dagger and a prodigy that allow instant switches.
