Sher'tul fortress final floor locked?

#1 Post by Narilera »

I installed Tale's on a new laptop, and didn't link it with my steam or donator account because I thought it would be fun to unlock everything again.

My first goal was to get the tranmogrification chest, but the final floor that leads to the fortress and the weirdling beast fight is locked. IT says perhaps I need a key.

I may be dumb, since it's been years and years since I did this the first time, but I didnt think I needed a key. There isn't any mention of one in the searches I've run online.

What's going on here? Is this because I haven't linked up my accounts on steam?

I think you forgot to pick up the lore at the very start of lake of Nur 1.
A little bit of a starters guide written by yours truly here.

at the very first lvl of the lake of nur (on the surface) there should be a note, talking about all the horrors in the the ruins.
i once intentionally telleported to avoid picking it up just to see if it actually matters.
turns out it did. and now someone missed it by accident.

Haha! you're right! The lore was what I was missing to get in. Then my arcane blade died because I was too exited and held the next turn button a little. XD

I am a fool :D.

Thanks for the replies!
