I have a dumb question: what to do with a great amount of gold?
I`m playing dwarf and "Power is Money" is very useful for me now but if no dwarf I am?

If you save the merchant for last hope, he'll make you a good item for 4000 gold.

"good" is not very accurate.
you chose an item base of t5, and he adds 6 random egos to it.

Anyways, you can also use it for staff training in angolwen and mindstar training in zigur. Some items can be quite expensive as well, so keep that in mind. Money isn't too important for most people, so don't worry about it until around end game. Unless you need money for some early game strategy.
