Sorry for not knowing where in the wiki to look for it. I've looked in the Fungus Category page, but there's nothing there (at least that I can see) about how to learn it: http://te4.org/wiki/Fungus_(category)

You need to ally with Zigur (it's just to the west to the big mountain range in the middle of the continent) and do a specific quest that is granted around level 15.

Thanks for the help, the tip about Zigur made me find it in the wiki.

"Killing Urkis and returning to her lets you learn the Fungus talents. If you have no prior knowledge, you'll get the tree, locked, at 1.00 mastery; if you already have the locked tree, she will unlock it; or if you have already unlocked the tree, she will increase your mastery of it by 0.1."
