Weirdling beast

How is the weirdling beast turning off my passives? Before when I fought it I never had that problem but the last run I did it wrecked me because it kept turning off my passive abilities in the middle of the fight.

He has a special inscription slot, a Taint, which does just that. You can inspect the Beast and see it.

Ok, thank you. I actually only just learned about inspecting monsters so I hadn't thought to. Always thought the mouse over information was all you got.

na, is a ton of info on that box, but even more if you look at them. can inspect yourself too . and yea, for any class that uses sustains, the beast is a beast to fight.
