Impossible Zone change for Summoner?

Hiho folks, i bought ToME on steam via the holidays and had a lot of fun with some (dead) characters.

My new one is a summoner which is currently in Dreadfell and i encountered a serious problem with the zone change to Dreadfell (2).

Due to its randomness the stair is in a room cramped full of mobs so that i cannot take any summons with me nor summon mobs in th room.



Can i reset the dungeon or get a new level 2 because i wont be able to do anything with that transition to level 2

You'll need some sort of teleport effect, like a teleportation rune.
If you're antimagic Zigur might have a torque of pyschoportation for sale in the top-right.

If you're really desperate you could probably delete the level from the save and force it to regenerate or something.

Yes i am anti-magic and no Zigur has no such torque available

Well this is somewhat rare in Dreadfel, but it can definitely happen and pretty much will happen to most players eventually. Mostly its a Dreadfell thing.

This also has the effect of causing escort mission to behave strange. They won't spawn initially but will once you clear the room and go up and back down the stairs. So in Dreadfell its possible to clear a level and then do the escort.

You basically have a couple options a)kill something to make some room or b) teleport either them or yourself in some manner. As AntiMagic one of the major prices you pay is only having Pychoportation torques available for teleport or getting Dream Walk via an escort. Personally when I play AM I always take Dream Walk from escort via an addon that lets me choose the escort type.

You can check other shops for a torque of psychoport. Otherwise see if you can melee down an archer to make room. Or delete the map.

How to delete the map? And will it have any negative effect when i reopen it?

(checked all the shops in all towns already for teleporting items and i am not able to get a teleportation spell nor having Dream Walk)

Edit: I found my save file but the 2nd questions remains: Does something happen when i delete the map manually?

Edit2: If i delete the Dreadfell map from my saves folder in c\user\...\t-engine... the map is not rerolled. Do i have to delete something from the steam side too?

After some tries one of the mobs did open the door randomly and making 1 space which i needed to summon something which lead to clearing the room. Thx anyway.
