Reset Data doen't work.

Are reset data options bugged at the moment? I keep using 'reset all achievements' and 'reset all unlocks' but nothing seems to happen. After messing arround with the game and learning the mechanics I want a fresh start but I simply can't reset my account or even delete it in order to create a new one. Deleting all of the game files, reinstaling the game several times etc. gave no effect as well.
What am I doing wrong?
