Yay dumb toolbars

#1 Post by IejirIsk »

Is there a way to have more buttons visible... I dont have a numpad (and cant find just a USB numpad *grumble grumble*) and I tend to just use the first few buttons on my numberline.

but, I've seen pics of people that had two visible rows on their toolbars at once, and when i need to use my mouse for commands, I dont often use the others currently (other than saved position of that Sher'tul Rod on S-6)

so, is there a setting i'm missing to do that?

I do not know about the double toolbar. Maybe an addon does that.
But you can scroll toolbars wih the keys page up/page down. In general, it is quite sufficient IMO.

You can unlock the hud to resize the talent bar.

More specifically, there should be a "lock" icon in a bar by the bottom of your screen. Clicking it causes a pink message informing you that you don't have to worry about moving until you're done resizing.

Every single element (except , I've found, tooltips) can then be individually resized, rescaled and moved. When you're done, all you do is click the lock again.

As an added bonus, if you mess something up beyond repair, pressing "escape" gives you the option to reset the interface.

Basically, the toolbars are far, far from dumb. :)

should be added that if you resize your hotbar with the method mentioned above, you can get multiple rows. and additionally you can assign any hotkeys to the hotbar nodes you like:

notice that i never assign hard-to-reach hotkeys that require moving my left hand from the place it rests on except for skills that I rarely use with mouse. and yeah, tome toolbars are probably the most undumb i've ever seen.
