Are Saves Cross-Platform Compatible?

Been playing since b42 on my offline pc, would a file transfer for unlocks, wins, and general character history from the windows version of the game over to my mac be compatible? I know windows -> windows works, but I'm not so certain about windows -> osx. Would my previous exploits get appropriately put on my account on the main site and in the character vault? Mostly concerned about the unlocks though

Following up now that the game has finished downloading, according to the site faq's info on saves:

"for Mac OS X, they are in users/yourname/library/application support/T-Engine/4.0/tome/save."

I've tried creating a character already in the hope that that would do the trick and still find nothing in the application support folder. Anybody know where the T-Engine folder could be?

I am playing on OSX and that's exactly where my saves are located
