Playing my Cursed Character in Exploration mode. The Sher'Tul fortress just opened the portal that apparently let me warp anywhere in the universe for 30 Energy. Went there. Then Holy Shit level 20 blade horror rapes me. I try to run but telekinetic pull bs had got me stuck in the above situation. Charge can't pass the Shade nor the Horror. Moving is blocked by the NPC who tries to talk to me, and I couldn't kill that horror in ~20 attempts (didn't even get close). Eidolon won't let me respawn anywhere else (because the fortress is "safe" or anything <.<) Is there any way to escape or do I actually need to roll up a new character here?
Don't you have any phase door or teleportation rune or items with charges of those in your inventory? Maybe you should discover closer which skills and stats your protagonist has so that you could maybe change your spec and thus to have better chances to win.
I realize this doesn't help your current situation, but you might want to wait until you're a higher level to open the farportal room. It will contain a random horror that has a chance at being pretty brutal. Waiting isn't such a bad thing since one of its best uses is getting you that last bit of experience needed to hit 50 before the end of the game.
