Almost no escorts?

The only time you can be skipped past escort due to the zone being so easy is when you are a Yeek.

How's that so? Can't you level up enough with other races to skip dungeons?

Well you could. But given the amount of experience you need and the way that Yeeks get two extra dungeons before the get escortees, its much more likely to happen with Yeek.

dungeon skipping is purely based on the number of tier 1 dungeons completed, has nothing to do with your level.

I believe it's three tier ones before you start skipping, not just two. Note also that Yeeks are far from the only race that can skip over escorts. Even if we discount people who leave t1s without fully exploring them (thus potentially spawning escorts in them that are skipped over if they come back later), the special starting zones for Archmages, Chronomancers, Celestials, Dwarves, and Undead all count as t1 dungeons that cannot have escorts.

Yeah I know its three, you start skipping on the 4th dungeon, which is the second escort available dungeon for Yeeks.
I hadn't thought about Dwarfs, they should also have it happen, but I don't recall ever having it happen.
I don't see how it could ever happen to people in the archmage/chrono/celestial/undead start though, as they only have 1 extra dungeon. (unless they do things like not complete dungeons or have some sort of addon that adds two extra celestial start dungeons.)

Do the special dungeon, then do Rhaloren Camp as your first "proper" tier 1. You now have only one escort dungeon before you start skipping.

(Not that it's a huge deal, of course, since you can simply turn around and walk back up until you find the escort; it's just something to keep in mind).

This is ridiculous.

I started a new Halfling Summoner. Cleared first three levels of Trollmire. Cleared Heart of the Gloom. Cleared Norgos Lair. NOT A SINGLE ESCORT spawned.

Going back to Trollmire to try clearing out all trees to areas I cant reach due to trees. But I doubt it...

Didnt help. First three levels of Trollmire cleared completely. No escort spawning.
Even killed the Troll Boss. Nope, no escorts in Trollmire
Just cleared Kor'Pul. No Escort there either.
Scintillating Caves, no escorts. Why is this...

If Trollmire and Heart of the Gloom were the first two dungeons you visited, it's pointless to check the other tier 1 dungeons. I posted a list of all the dungeons that can have escorts in them in this very topic, complete with an explanation of how the tier 1 escorts work.

Just to be clear: You are not guaranteed to find any escorts in the tier 1 dungeons. This is not an unusual state of affairs at all.

Started another Summoner once that char got killed, and found a couple of Escorts in the starter dungeons now.
