Re: Poisons (Spoleris)
- Deadly Poison deals about 12-32 damage per turn for 6-10 turns.
- Numbing Poison deals about 12-28 damage per turn and reduces target's damage bonus by 13-25% for 6-10 turns.
- Insidious Poison deals about 12-28 damage per turn and reduces target's healing by 35.5-57.5% for 6-10 turns.
- Crippling Poison deals about 12-28 damage per turn and inflicts a 13-25% talent failure rate for 4-8 turns.
- Stoning Poison is utterly useless, since anything that lives long enough to be petrified is almost certainly immune to petrification. Plus, it only deals about 12-20 damage per turn for 7 turns and actually decreases in duration if you manage to boost your mastery (in theory, this is an advantage, as it gives them less time to cure it before petrification kicks in, but as I said, you won't be petrifying many enemies to begin with).
Re: Poisons (Spoleris)
Also Deadly Poison stacks with itself I believe, while the others don't.

Re: Poisons (Spoleris)
That's true. If your Deadly Poison is doing 320 damage over a 10-turn duration, and you hit someone with two applications, you'll end up doing 640 damage after it runs its course. Other poisons don't stack like that.
Re: Poisons (Spoleris)
5/5 on poisons is almost a must as it increases poison potency greatly. (i wish poisons worked on undeads tho). There is one more poison you can get with prophecy, that deals arcane damage and reduces resistances.Spleenling wrote:I'm trying to find what all the Poisons in the Poison talent tree are but don't want to sink my talent points if they aren't ones i want.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.
