How do I enable steam achievements for done achivements?

I've gotten 6 achievements so far in tome and they show up in-game, but they aren't reflected in my steam achievements. Is there something special I have to do to get them to show up there? I bought tome on steam and am playing it through steam. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Funny thing about Steam achievements. There's 1,225 of them. I'm not sure I've seen any other game break 100 achievements, much less a thousand. The standard answer is (and has been since we released to Steam) that Steam has no idea how to handle that many achievements, so there's going to be some disconnect between in-game and Steam.
