Telekinetic Smash+Conduit?

Telekinetic Smash+Conduit?

I'm confused about how Telekinetic Smash's description mentions Conduit
"If Conduit is active, it will extend to include your mainhand weapon for this attack"
Telekinetic Smash already says it uses your mainhand weapon, how does it actually work with and without Conduit on?

Also, can you enter the infinite dungeon from the stairs in the ruined dungeon in vanilla after beating the final bosses and "finishing" all the other quests in your log?

Conduit only applies it's extra damages to your telekinetic weapon, not your melee weapon. Telekinetic smash makes conduit add it's elemental damage(s) to your melee weapon AND your telekinetic one, for that one hit.

Yes, you can enter the ID after winning the storyline. However, the normal level cap of 50 is not lifted, unless you use the infinite500 addon. (Starting in the ID from a new game, however, removes the level cap with or without the addon.)

so does Telekinetic Smash hit with just your mh or mh and telekinetic hand if conduit is active?

is there any benefit at all to using conduit if you don't have auras?

You can't use Conduit without the auras.

Yes and no. Your telekinetic weapon also gets an attack that turn with conduit factored in automatically, but you don't get an extra attack with that weapon.
