A one-word post. Really dude?

OP: What is life drinker? If you're referring to the Blood of Life, it, like nearly everything else in this game, is a random drop. I go to every zone in each of my games, and I've only ever found it a handful of times.
And it was such a good idea...

Hey its succinct!

Anyway, you are looking for the Shadow Crypt.

But it could be somewhere else.

Found it just laying on the floor, not even in vault.

OP: Why don't you post a few of your characters so we can look at your builds? Character vault links would be ideal.

If your (Spell / Physical / Mental) Power was lower than their (Spell / Physical / Mental) Save, than it might've just shrugged it off. I don't know the accurate mechanics for such though!
You have a 50% chance of "shrugging off" a detrimental effect if your applicable save is equal to their applicable power. Each point of difference adjusts that chance by 2.5%; for instance, if your physical save is 30 and a troll with physical power 20 attempts to stun you, you've got a 75% chance of shrugging off the stun. Furthermore, each point of save you have above the enemy's power reduces the duration of the effect by 5% (round up); thus, in the above example, the stun would only last half as long if it did manage to land on you.

Lastly, if your save is more than 20 points lower than the enemy's power, not only are you unable to shrug off the effect, you're also going to suffer an additional "cross-tier" effect, such as Off-Balance or Brainlock. The effect lasts longer if you're really outclassed.
