Pump constitution as soon as you feel confortable with your primary stats and buy 5/5 Thick skin. Berserkers don't really woory about resistances like some other classes since they have nice dps and can always go into Unstoppable and buy a few turns when in trouble.

Err: Unstoppable is only at level 22, stay careful for now :P.
Hmm, will have to look into this unstoppable, hope its not in a talent tree I need to unlock as I've been using those points for infusions.

Is it OK that' I've been ignoring Dexterity, and only pumping Strength and Constitution? Defense sucks, but for now Attack seems fine because of the generic class points I've devoted to it.

I always unlock Bloodthirst tree in Berserkers because it's what makes the class in my opinion... and it's probably the strongest talent tree too.
No need for Dexterity in Berserkers unless you're going for some strange builds. Str > Con > Cun (Wil if Antimagic).

I've been leaving Cun alone too.

My first bunch of Berserker attempts all included unlocking Bloodthirst, but they all ended in death before level 15 partially for lack of the right infusions/runes/inscriptions at the right time. That's why so far I've used my two talent categories for inscription slots. Currently have Regeneration, Shield, Wild Infusion Physical, Phase Door, and Movement. And I would REALLY like to supplement these with a Healing, Teleport, Wild Infusion Mental, and another shield. And a good powered Sunburst can be a lifesaver at times.

So, um.... not sure what to do here... Should I pick Bloodthirst if I survive to level 20, replace Phase Door with Teleport, try to locate a combined Physical/Mental infusion, and leave myself with only 1 Regen/Healing slot?

Phase Door has a tendency to put you in the same bad situation you are already in. Teleport can, at least, put you in a new terrible situation. I'd avoid the regular Phase Door rune as much as possible; odds are you will benefit more regularly and more often from something like healing, regeneration, shielding, etc. Movement is good, too. Since you should have good physical save, it might be better to pick up some immunities (especially stun) and find a mental/magic wild infusion.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

Agreed, but there's one case where I find phase door to be quite useful: Not *escaping*, but to simply put a bit of distance between you and your target. Rather like a disengage, for when its on cooldown. 'course, only really valid for classes that don't want to be standing right next to something.

Movement infusions are much more reliable for that, and with some bonuses too.

I think Phase Door is useful if you're surrounded by enemies with no hole to Move through, and you just want some free space to breathe. So maybe teleport would be better there.

I have 2 questions,

1. Some menus (like character sheet) display partially off my screen. Is this normal? or a setting I need to adjust?

2. Bulwarks can unlock archery mastery. Bows/Slings say they require shoot. Does that mean they can improve there archery but not actually learn to shoot (without a trainer) or am I misunderstanding something?

Happens to me all the time, though for me its the hotkey bar partially offscreen. Hit "Esc" and choose to reset the interface. I gotta do that almost every time I restart the game.

I got another question myself now - are Reavers supposed to be good at melee? Because I started one, and it seems hopeless with the low Dex and Con - they seem way too fragile to stand toe-to-toe with anything solid, and a single two-handed weapon does way more damage than 2 onehanders.. The ranged attacks are great of course.

And one more - is the 5 infusion limit intended? When I reach level 20 as a human berserker, I can't add a 6th infusion/rune/inscription using a category point, even though the dialog pop-up description says I should be able to.

Reavers should absolutely build Con, and Combat Accuracy should help with Dex woes. Dual-wielding one-handed weapons can become very powerful with talents and good egos. Stack diseases to soften up powerful melee foes.

You are correct, Wobbly. Shoot can be learned from a trainer in Last Hope (check the shops, I think it's somewhere in the north-west).

Reavers start out pretty terrible at melee, and for the first few levels should basically pretend to be Corruptors without the Blood tree. Once you have enough points in Ruin, Combat Accuracy, Weapon Mastery, and Armor Training, melee combat becomes viable. Their basic strategy should be to figure out what range their opponent least wants to be, and take the fight there.
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

How do you boost phys. power with psiblades? Ran into an issue where by Daikara and Dreadfell almost everything I tried to stun would shrug it off because mine was only around 30.

Hi, Im back after some years not playing rouge. (played alot tome 2. Now tiered of diablo3... :))

Sorry for badly phrased question - Swede. Wondering if this is a bug or what.. :/

I started with a Higher, Arcane Blade. Cool - like to combine mele with magic.
But at lvl 6 or so - after killing Prox the troll(?) I get to choose between 4 diffrent buffs - a rune? One is "mana-something. 30 600%" or what. I've chosen it two times for two characters - BOTH chars ended up loosing the "7 manasurge" skill... what happend? (instead I got another "leaf" symbol..?) So now I cant regen mana at all?
Running b41.

It sounds like you used a regeneration infusion from your inventory. This brought up the dialogue for which of your existing inscriptions to replace with it. When you selected manasurge, it replaced it with the regeneration infusion.
