Ok: annoying random elites: any easy way to turn them off?

Edit: Ok this is ridiculous. 8 wyrmics in a row, all dead because of random elites. PLEASE this stuff must be fixed :(

Edit 2: Guess what? Now I met TWO random elites on trollmire 2: one a paradox mage, the other an arcane blade. wonderful, no?

Are mindslayer spells, well, spells that can trigger the on-spell-hit effects on items like Fiery Choker and Black Robe?

No. You can see each talent has an "Is Spell" descriptor near their cooldown/range/cost etc. that tells you if they are a spell or not.
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

Thanks! That makes it easier to decide whether to go antimagic.

Hi!
OK, so I've created a human archer. In a forest I fired 5 times to a monster and finished him with my bare hands. Now I am out of my 5 arrows, no sword or even a knife. In the town arrows cost 17 or 25 gold, I have only 10. WTF?!?

Two questions for my mindslayer:

1) Does the last energy talent in the finer energy manipulations tree give energy from wielding mindstars, or just gems as the description implies?

2) What are these psi-blades/mindstars that I've heard about, and how can I get them?

Thanks :P
Step One: Redux
Step Two: Paradox Clone
Step Three: Watch game go insane.

1. My understanding was that it was actually a case of sacrificing gems for the energy boost. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
2. Mindstars are a new weapon type. You get them by killing things (and occasionally in shops).
2a. Psi-blades are the result of using mindstars with a particular skill tree. You get that tree either by being a summoner or by certain escort quests after going antimagic

You have to reload your quiver. You should have a reload talent, which will start filling your quiver with arrows at a rate of 1 per turn. Alternatively, you can press 'r' to rest, which will also start you reloading.

Very N00bily:

I'm i the far east and after finishing one of the pride areas all of the others have disappeared from their locations (they were there initially, I saw at least two of them)--what am I doing wrong?

It's a bug. The worldmap zone got reset, IIRC.

Loot completely disappears when you leave a level. The only exception concerns items that are in a vault (ie any room that requires confirmation to be opened).

Actually, loot on floor persists for... a while. Not forever, just for a while. I'm not certain as to the length of this while.

On the other hand, if you progress far enough, and explore enough areas, a nifty thing will happen, and you won't have to worry about that again.
