List of talent interactions

Re: List of talent interactions
Thanks for this awesome thread.
I like the Telekinetic weapon, thanks to all the interactions explained here.
I tested:
Never Stop running: Does NOT trigger TeleKinetic Weapon (You need to spend any non null fraction of a turn to have a TK strike)
Through the Crowd: DO trigger TK = 10 TK strikes while you switch place with your summon.
! If you add Lightning speed, "Through the crowd" no longer trigger a TK strike.
My own discovery while testing:
Lure (or other summon)+ Chain Lightning.
You can strike foes from 20 step away with Chain lightning and a stable summon (ie: Lure from the Trap tree, or some item summon)
With Lure at level 1 (range 6) you can strike from 16 step. If you use Slime Spit you can just reach 12 step (Slim Spit travel only 6 step after the first target)
It"s useful against boss in wide space (ie: my Arch-nemesis Subject Z as a Yeek). Stay out of is LoS and he wont even react.
You can also strike in an angle. You can do preemptive strike that way without even knowing there something. And it work on hidden foes -strike the Lure, the lighting will find the hidden dude-
Oh! On a side note. Lure work with "through the Crowd" : You can switch place with the Lure for 1/10 of a turn= 10 TK strike. So its also useful at close range.

What about dual-wielding shields with the Stone-Warden talents for Dwarven adventurers?minmay wrote:Incomplete, obviously.
Neither telekinetic weapons nor shields count as dual-wielding (but if you ARE dual-wielding, your telekinetic weapon will suffer the trigger chance penalty).

Re: List of talent interactions
Sadly, Adventurers cannot get Stone Warden talents. But if they could, they could totally use shields with their dual-weapon talents.

Re: List of talent interactions
INCORRECT!
I'm quite happy to say that dwarven adventurers CAN receive stone warden talents, IF one is a donator, and uses the above. ^^^^

Re: List of talent interactions
Hmm! Is there a way to get this on a yeek or thalore mindslayer?ooli wrote:Through the Crowd: DO trigger TK = 10 TK strikes while you switch place with your summon.

Re: List of talent interactions
Through the crowd need 6 party member. That's 5 beside you.comrade raoul wrote:Hmm! Is there a way to get this on a yeek or thalore mindslayer?ooli wrote:Through the Crowd: DO trigger TK = 10 TK strikes while you switch place with your summon.

With the 3 summon yeek (2 for the thalore) get at level 12, you just need 2 more (3 as a thalore). You get 1 more in the party from being in an escort quest (the escorted). And for the last one (or 2 last one as Thalore) you need an item with a summon. The stuff summoning rats, or spiders, or light, or vampire, or whatever.
As an adventurer. The easiest is probably to take the "Necrotic Minion" tree, 5 skill point in it (and an escorted)should do the trick. But I never really played with summon so may be there is a more useful tree around.
Re: List of talent interactions
If Dwarven adventurers can get full AC chance with two shields, then that's clearly the best set up for AC.
Especially given that the third tier talent Shards gives (Edit: can give) an extra weapon attack per turn.
With the fix to Reaving Combat, limiting it to one attack per turn:
An attack with Dissolve or Frenzy gives 4 attacks with both weapons (8) + 1 TK attack, all with a chance of triggering AC, each of which have a chance of triggering a maximum of 1 Reaving Combat attack - which can also proc an AC attack, giving a subtotal of 10 attacks - each of which can trigger GWF, for a potential 20 attacks and potentially 20 AC triggers.
+ the Stone-Warden Talent Shards + Frenzied Psifighting + GWF triggers from them - with their own AC triggers. (I haven't calculated this because I haven't tested Shards, and I don't know how many attacks Frenzied can give...)

Re: List of talent interactions
Dual-wielding shields with the Stone Warden skill counts as dual wielding weapons, so you only get half the Arcane Combat procs.
Re: List of talent interactions
Shield of Light extra attack triggers on ranged attacks (tested with ego 'of projection').
Re: List of talent interactions
That would be because the of Projection ego does a melee attack at range.

If Shadows decide to target your Golem, they will kill him, and do so every time you bring him back . Forever.

Re: List of talent interactions
Another lack pf interaction. Telekinetic Smash does not work if you are unarmed, even if you are using the brawler stuff, also you cannot reshape gloves, which again sucks for brawler type adventurers.

Can't you use the re-target command to make them change targets?breadsmith wrote:If Shadows decide to target your Golem, they will kill him, and do so every time you bring him back . Forever.

Re: List of talent interactions
Yes, but they will default back to the Golem the moment the new target is dead.
Re: List of talent interactions
I may have missed this, but I didn't see it.
TK grasp weapon don't proc flexible combat.
