Stealth's changes on an Adventurer
Just wondering what the consensus on Stealth was for Adventurers now that it's been changed somewhat? Is it still not really feasible? If it is workable, how much investment does it need? (i.e. cat point, prodigy, gear buffs)

Re: Stealth's changes on an Adventurer
It gives you automatic crits with a bonus multiplier. With the new changes, if you have a single point in Unseen Actions, you automatically remain in stealth if no enemies are within your stealth radius. A ranged Adventurer would probably wreak merry hell just by going 5/5/1/1.

Yeah, that was kinda my intention. ^.^
Are there decent benchmarks for getting Stealth to a good effective level via cat point/prodigy/mastery gear to reduce the range? I haven't really looked at how it scales.

Catpoint does seem to improve the range.
EDIT: ... but it only speeds the descent to range 5, which is the limit at 1.0 and 1.2 mastery.
At 1.3 mastery, you can get the range down to 4.
At 1.9 mastery, you can get the range down to 3.

Is 1.9 even available to an Adventurer? I suppose there might be enough artifacts that have a bonus to Stealth maybe?

1.0 base, 1.2 masteryElroniel wrote:Is 1.9 even available to an Adventurer? I suppose there might be enough artifacts that have a bonus to Stealth maybe?
I've seen 0.40 mastery necklaces, that's 1.6 total so far
There Serpentine Cloak gives some.
Tricks of the Trade prodigy gives some.
... maybe?
Re: Stealth's changes on an Adventurer
I got a lucky drop on the cloak, actually. It gives .1 to Stealth. So, with the prodigy, a cat point, the cloak, and a .4 mastery amulet, you'd have it. Not that I think that much investment would actually be worth it, though.
