Counter attacking Ogre Mindslayer

I planed an ogre mindslayer with antimagic. But because of a cat jumping on my knees i stupidly choose light from an anorithil escort ...
So i was considering ignoring constitution but choosing intelligence instead. Consequently before i could reconsider it i was taking chants from a paladin escort.
My first category point i put into another incription since i don't think that the intellegence part of the character could be developed before level 20.
i plan to spend next category points into light and then into chants (still unsure about chants but extra hitpoints could be nice).
When i boost intelligence i could take both shield prodigies and let the psi wielded twohander counter attack on blocked enemies so doubling the damage. Or is the damage from frenzied focus not doubled?

Any big flaws in the theory?
