Hey all,
I love the idea of entering the dreams of a target and killing them that way, but I can't seem to use this skill very well. Weaker enemies that would've been one/twoshotted are easily killable in the dreamforge too, but this costs a lot more PSI, as you have to beat the clones 10 times to fully kill the enemy. On the other hand, stronger enemies that have lots of health are really hard to kill, even in dreamforge. Moreover, you might have to deal with 2-3 clones of that enemy at the same time if you can't keep up with the spawn rate.
Is Dreamscape just broken or am I missing something?
How to use Dreamscape efficiently?

Dreamscape is a niche skill, at least in my experience. I've used it to save the Yeek Wayist from Subject Z, and when I'm overwhelmed by, say, a boss and an unlucky swarm of elites, to help thin the crowd, recover some key cooldowns, and deal a good bit of damage.

My understanding is that the only good usage is as follows:
You have a boss/rare/unique that is kicking your behind, your defensive stuff/heals are on cooldown, and there's an easily killed normal enemy nearby.
You Sleep + Dreamscape the normal enemy, which buys you time to heal up/get your good stuff off cooldown (basically you are in no real danger going 1v1 in Dreamscape against the normal enemy, so it's kind of like a free "reset").
Pretty situational. Tried using it once this way, seemed to work ok...but then took the talent point back out. Maybe I'll put it back in later once I have points to spare.

Gaidren is basically correct. If you invest in this, go for at least 3/5.Gaidren wrote:My understanding is that the only good usage is as follows:

At 5/5 against a WEAK enemy it is brilliant, you can basically just ignore the enemy and get 10+ turns to reduce your cooldowns. It is one of the best recovery options in the game.
Against TOUGH enemies it is very risky.
