Superb guide :). Won insane without getting in serious trouble, [winner].

Some thoughts of mine:

I played cornac but messed up and forgot to kill sandworm queen before going east -> no 5. category point and way to many skill points left.
Any other race than cornac would have been far better and the only guaranted body i found before coming back from the east was Warmaster Gnarg.

After using Warmaster Gnarg's body up i switched to Massok until the end. Only for the endgame i used something different. The last copy left
of Massok would have won the endfight easily too.

Playing possessor was for a while quite fun but in the end some how boring. Tons of damage, alot movement options combined with thousands of hps,
maxed out resistance and the ability to heal your body with cannibalize for even more hps makes you invulnurable.

Possessor is meant to be played on madness, insane is way to easy to win.

Oof! You lost the defining Cornac edge, their additional cat point - tough beat! Glad you liked the guide though.

I've been away from the game for a bit, how did you unlock Windtouched Speed with 0 equilibrium using talents? Some bonkers misc item?

Madness is still pretty unforgiving, even with a Possessor. People have won with it, but it's a pretty short list. I do think that some of the upcoming (present? I haven't played in a while) changes to drowning will help weaken Possessor's early game so you can't just start with a 30ish lvl Last Hope boss body as a starting character, then you'll be burning up resources a bit more as you go and having to play with suboptimal hosts sometimes rather than starting with such a strong body that you can cherry-pick only the best and have an amazing stable by the time you burn out your initial host.

I do agree they have a very strong endgame - every class benefits from talents, gear, and prodigies, but only the Possessor really continues to scale in power with how strong enemies get and the higher the difficulty the better the pickings for host bodies. I manage to continue to care about Possessor gameplay through the end by trying to preserve my favorite bodies through the endgame, but it does rather switch to "how do I manage and maintain my ideal stable of hosts?" from the usual "how do I win?"

Some of prerequisites for Windtouched Speed are only checked wenn you learn
the prodigy. I think when you exit the screen all you need is the 50 dex.

Thus all you have todo is to save 20 generic points and 1 cat point and learn
all of Wilf Gift / Harmony, learn Windtouched speed, unlearn all of
Wild Gift / Harmony and get the cat point back. Voila :D.

Hmmm. I did not know that. I knew about floating points but assumed they would be saved upon switching screens. Live and learn, even after 1K+ hours playing.

Update: added some thoughts on Beta 1.6 into the second post. When 1.6 is fully released I'll integrate them into the full document.
