Point Zero

#1 Post by Sradac »

Is freaking awesome. Just wanted to say it. Always loved the chronomancers, and this place really "ties" it all together so to speak.

Typo though, when you return after slaying the weaver queen the dialog says that the keepers are reality are "atatcking" lol

Zemekkys.....why do I know his name?

The dude in Sunwall who makes the portal back to Maj'Eyal for you. Also, Zemekkys's Broken Hourglass.
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

Thanks ! :)

And yes that's why Zemekkys implies he met you before, but you have not met him before.

One question about this:

I killed the boss of the starter quest for my temporal warden character, but could not find a temporal rift on that level. So I used the Timeport: Point Zero skill to return to Point Zero. Did I miss out on completing the quest successfully?

I'm pretty sure you're boned and need to restart the character, unless someone else knows something. As with all starting characters, part of the reward for completing the quest and defeating the initial zone is the Rod of Recall. If you recall to Point Zero before killing the boss of the starter area, you won't get a shot at the boss that drops the Rod. Theoretically, you could beat the game without it, and it might even be a fun challenge for an advanced player, but otherwise, you need to complete the quest without returning to Point Zero via spell.

If you really couldn't find the rift (did you use autosearch? that'll always take you to the rift in the end, once the level is cleared out), you should probably report that as a bug. Keep in mind that the final one only appears when you defeat the Queen.

The rod drops from the first boss you kill, not from the boss in your starter dungeon.

There are even achievements for making bosses such as the Grand Corruptor, Urkis, Myssil or the Master drop the rod.

Oh, okay. I actually knew that, had I given it thought. Well, then, everyone carry on.

By making him the first boss you kill. Um...I guess you can clear Dreadfall ahead of schedule. I've never tried.

Dreadfell scales from level 15 up. It's plausible, in the same way playing on insane is.

I love the world, the end boss of the first mission seemed too easy, though, like it's AI was trying to be as bad as it could possibly be while still looking like it was trying. But since that is purely a bonus boss to beat with base equipment, it isn't a big deal, and i like that the chronomancers now have their own town (especially since they are 2/3's of what i play).

You mean the temporal defiler ?
He is intentionally made to be of no challenge (mainly thanks to the huge buff you get), the real boss is the spider one :)
