i read they dont work together, that might have been the case for 1.0.0, is this still true for 1.0.1?

Well, Psiblades now boost Mindpower, so there's more of a bonus from them than before(the bonus before was none). So in a sense, yes, it did.

Otherwise, same as before-Psiblade damage boosts do not, directly, impact Gesture of Pain, because Gesture of Pain is a talent that overrides your basic physical. But you can use Mindstar Mastery skills.
