I'm only really interested in pacification hex because I heard that it can daze the final bosses as well, who are otherwise stun immune (I think?).

You heard wrong, I'm afraid. It does ignore physical save, but not stun immunity.

I'm currently sitting on eight generics points after realizing that I already got the elixir of foundations covered. Now I just need to gain 50 % of a level and I get to unlock that light tree and spend my eight wonderful points .
