Overwhelmed, looking for some advice!

Strongly disagree with focusing on breaths, most are pretty bad because they do low damage and have a low chance to apply a useful status for just three turns. The only useful ones are Sand Breath and Venomous Breath since they have a 100% chance to apply their status. Other breaths are usually a poor use of both equilibrium and a turn.
