How work the command staff?

#1 Post by Niegy »

For some reason I succeed make work the command staff with an Alchemist, left click on the skill, select an effect then bind the skill to left click.

But I can't succeed make it work with an Archmage, I feel like an idiot.

Anyone can provide me the exact sequence of clic/action to make it work?

Those long range class are a nightmare for me, Archer, Alchemist both I don't like, and Archmage I can't make it work, and worse I had to give up at third level of floating islands despite it was easier difficulty. :?

Well great another character corrupted, now each time I click on a skill I get an error debug message. Really the unique save file is an awful idea. I'll try restart my computer just in case but I doubt.

Can't help with the corrupted file, but to bind a skill to left click:

1) push "m" to open the talents key binding menu
2) find the talent and right click to open a list of options
3) select "bind to left click"

Command Staff isn't the same as Channel Staff (which is part of the staff combat tree). Command Staff only allows you to choose which element the staff in question confers bonus damage to.

Thanks for the answers. Lol I mixed 2 skills? Well something wrong happen with this Archmage character and I deleted it a bit fast, lol. Ha well, I'll stick to the classes I first tried that seem those I prefer. That said apart the skill problem, giving up the islands, and the bug, the Archmage wasn't bad at all.
