II find there a worwhole and stabilized it. But I hadn't found the 2 other, so to see I tried the spell teleporting back to the town. And now I don't see any way to get back on the islands.
I also wonder where was the two other worwholes.
EDIT: I created a new character to check and well I had the option to change level area once the wormhole was closed, I did check it and saw nothing with the first character. It's possible that have saw nothing but it was here. Ha well, otherwise I think I'm glued and can't get back to the floating islands, one more character to trash, I dislike so much those systems with a unique save, it's just plain troubles and lost of time. Yeah it's just short time played with the char but still.
And also during that first attempt my teleport spell couldn't allow choose the destination. Not the phase, the teleport.

You use the stabilized wormhole like a staircase in order to proceed to the next area. Teleport is always random until you get it to effective level 5 (4 generic talent points as an archmage due to the 1.3 mastery).

Yeah not Teleport, but I had two Phase Door, one from skills and one from rune that allowed choose the destination area and at some point it stopped work.Infinitum wrote:You use the stabilized wormhole like a staircase in order to proceed to the next area. Your phase door spell has a reduced mana cost and cooldown, and is always controlled until you leave the Abashed Expanse, after which it reverts to normal. The rune is always random.

There's nothing really critical in the Abashed Expanse, so don't worry if you miss it. It's just that the slow-moving projectiles, open areas, and lack of any Rushing enemies makes it a relatively safe place to get your first few levels as an Archmage. And even that safety is pretty arguable: Norgos and the Trollmire are probably easier, even with the occasional fox with Rushing Claws.
Bottom line: Don't worry about missing the Expanse. Certainly don't abandon a character over it.
