whip + dagger?

I god a 100% dex lvl1 whip a few lvls into the game with my shadow blade and i was wondering... the dmg seems to be much higher than daggers, and i can use whip + dagger, is it a wortwhile combo? whip+dagger? are there good tier 5 whips? and how to get 5 points in exotic weapons?

The trouble with whips is that there are no non-unique whips. You will never find a randart whip. You can't get the merchant to make one. So you're pretty much limited to the few unique ones in the game. Exotic Weapon skill can be gotten as a reward from a warrior escort. Once you get 1 point rewarded to you, you can invest generic points to raise it further. It will become part of the same tree with the armor training and accuracy and weapon mastery and whatnot. It requires a combination of Dex and Str to raise it though. If you have a warrior escort and have the generics to spare, go for it.

One with skeletal claw ability is awesome. Others are not worth using over something you have skill in.
