throwing knives and shadowstrike

throwing knives doesn't break stealth nowadays, but does it get the shadowstrike buff (assuming you throw them from 1-3 tiles away)? it seems it doesn't but i might be mistaken

Yes. Throwing knives from Stealth should crit 100% of the time, unless the target has a crit prevention skill active.
