I spent hours grinding farportal for armor and fire / physical resistance equipment to face the giant trash can but in the end it was the reflection that got me: with 54% physical resistance penetration and Arkul's arrows' 100 armor penetration I managed to hit him for 3k+ damage with Vital Shot (without Garkul's revenge)... 2.5k of which got reflected back to me.
Because reflective skin is a sustain, there is no way around it? Does that also mean that Garkul's revenge is counterproductive as it will one shot any high damage characters? Also when I respawned he was back to full health, does that always happen when you die or he just has insane heath regeneration and regenerated 3000 health 24 turns while I waited for my energy shield to recharge on Eidolon Plane?
Also is there any way to counter his Arcane Pull and Irresistible Sun other than Disengage?
Now, keep in mind that this is with a character that laughed at the final bosses and room of death. Would using less damaging attacks and then teleporting to heal (while praying that he does not find you too soon) work? If anyone beat him with a bow archer before, any tips would be appreciated.

You need to get ride of his reflection. Gloves of Dispersion would be the most likely seeing as you don't have Corruptor or Archmage talents.
