I'm having a few issues.
One, when I took Prismatic Scales, it screwed over all of my resistances, fire resistance went down from 100% to 2%, and the scales no longer add any resistances.
Two, the entire savaging claws tree throws error messages at me whenever I try to use abilities from that tree.

Well, that isn’t great. Nekarcos hasn’t posted in a while.
On one: might be fixable. I’ve had several glitches with prismatic scales, and fixed them (save editing), so I might be able to fix this if you put up your save file.
On two: that is not so great. I didn’t notice last time I played (I never use savaging claws), but there is definitely nothing I can do about that besides test it.

Important question: Do you have any other addons active? Some can mess it up badly.

Hello.

I see that the author of the mod has been gone for a while, but I'll still leave this note here. There is a peculiar bug with the alternative visuals that you can choose when you start the game. I faced it on an older version of the mod, don't know if it was fixed later. Particularly, when you follow the main quest and turn into a blighted hydra in that trecherous alchemist's tower, you get a reddish model of your character. However, when you become your normal self again after escaping the dungeon, the model reverses back to the regular one, not to the one you can choose as an alternative.

Also, just for the players' notice, I faced a bug which prevented me from getting any extra generic points each level as intended. I think that one of these addons messed with this function because starting a new game without them fixed the problem for me. The addons were: arcanum, eternaldarkness, irongolem, possessor_fixes, ratlich-ratefix, summon-tinkers, verdant. I assume it might be the verdant one or arcanum due to the massive amount of code they probably have, but I can't be sure about it.

By the way, it's a real shame to see this great mod abandoned by the author. To my mind, it's the best thing that TOME's modding community has ever produced. I've been following it since the first version and I'm playing it still. Considering his sudden disappearance, I do hope that Nekarcos simply grew tired of working on the mod and nothing bad has happened to him.

Ah, so THAT’S what caused the tile art issue. I never figured that one out.

Thanks for the heads up.

On nekarcos: they log in pretty often (based on their profile), so I suspect they are okay. I’m also still playing OotS when I play ToME, and it is also my favorite thing the community has made, so I agree entirely.

I'm using a few mods, yeah. Mostly quality of life ones though. Do you know any of the well known issue causers so I can double check? If not, it's a big shame.

I agree, probably the best mod in the game, next to all the quality of life changes, so it's a shame he hasn't been heard from in a while. I love everything it adds, even if I'm a diehard Draker

I would not expect Arcanum or Verdant to break extra generic points on levelling. Midnight maybe, but that was only for Cornac until I fixed it.
I'm usually very careful with avoiding code which is going to conflict with other addons, but that does require that the other addons also take some care as well.

To be fair, Odyssey is such a massive and complicated mod that large sections of it are comprised almost entirely of deep magic. I wouldn't be surprised to find that it conflicted with something that should never be conflicted with.

At gamer1024: Savaging claws works fine for me, and I don’t know what addons would influence this, but if you give me a list of you addons, I can test them all.

Your save is located in C:\Users\NAME\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save.

Drake is my favorite as well.

I’m too busy to check for the next threeish days, but after that, I’ll test them out. Taking a quick look, I’d guess it is one of the class packs at fault. Possibly Draconians? Can’t be sure without testing.

It's all good, I appreciate you volunteering at all. I think the save file is dead though, I'm running into glitches just trying to pick things up now, so something went really wrong.

Okay, this is an odd one. I tested all of the class packs, and everything seems to be working. Either it is the fault of one of the others, or there is something wrong with your copy. This happens on every OotS game, correct? If so, I guess I'll try some of the others too.

Try Infinite500. In my experience, that one and OoTS violently dislike one another.
