Proper Time Hounds, finally!

#1 Post by Frumple »

An addon I had been wanting to code up pretty much the instant I used temporal hounds for the first time!

It changes those ghastly dark grey Cs* into light blue Zs, as it should have been from the start :D

Went ahead and bungled up two versions, one which goes whole hog (such as it is) and also changes the type and subtype of the hounds to Elemental/Zephyr hound, and the other which leaves that stuff be and is strictly aesthetic.

... and yeah, I'm aware of the misspelling in the init file, if anyone wanders in asking about it. Far too much effort to go back in and change it, heh.

Anyway, addon page is here. This thread's for feedback, bug reports (gods I hope not, I'm still not entirely sure how I got it working to begin with) and possibly edge yelling at me :P

Special thanks to housepet, who pointed me in the right direction, and starkeep, who made the shadowflame tweak addon I shamelessly stole the code formatting for most of this from.

*Actually fine with the vanilla colors, it's just there's a right way and then there's the Zephyr way.

Frumple, this was a fantastic idea for an addon.

Small in scope, but it's about the things that matter.

I shall download it and be sure to have it initialized for every playthrough. Also, I'll take a look at the code sometime and see if I can't suggest ways to streamline it!

Unless it contains some really bad code, it should be fine for many versions.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.
