[sound F/X: source diving] Hmm, that actually looks like a bug in Ignore Race/Class Locks; it appears to be tripping over a missing race descriptor. What race and class is the character that's having this error?

Ahh the race I am currrently. Well I am using is an addon race with an addon race prodigy. Astralinferno's Zilquish Race with Recaiden Dreadmaster prodidgy with turns you into a dread race.

oh that explains everything, now that I think about it!

So Ignore R/C locks is checking the player's subrace and then checking the birther definition for that subrace to see if they match; in order to trigger the special achievement you added.
(It might also be checking the birther definition in other places; this was the one I found)

The Dreadmaster race evolution changes your subrace to Dread.
Unlike the Lich evolution, there is no birther definition for Dread.

ergo, its Nil, and when you try and look at the nonexistent Locked text, it errors.
(Presumably.)

I'm suggesting to rec that they should add a birth definition to Dread, since this is more their error than it is yours, but accounting for nil results here would future proof.

Hope I didnt come in and tell you this after you'd already spent time looking into it.

Yes, that's definitely where the problem is, but more proximately, the specific code that's choking isn't actually my code; it's buried in the Birther dialog, and it's completely unnecessary for our purposes. I'd have removed it earlier if I'd known it would cause problems. I've pushed out a new release that should fix the problem; We Apologize for the Inconvenience.™

(EDIT: Waaiit a minute… [sound F/X: source diving] Dangit, you're right, I am checking the descriptors myself too; I'm going to have to patch over that. Gimme a minute… EDIT 2: Okay, that should fix it. [Famous last words… ])

In the meantime, pushing out v17b.3 for both, which is mostly a combatibility release for use with my new Interact with Sidekicks addon by way of Talent Point Planner, but also includes updates for Enhanced Object Compare and Go to Landmark.

Hi
We have translated ZOmnibus Addon Pack/ZOmnibus Lite in Chinese, as well as fixed a small problem in the translation file.
https://mega.nz/folder/n5R33SwB#QVqlFw5e6Djku-jpGT1uHg
This zip includes some modification to your original addon, so I suggest a diff before using it.
It may need some further fixes in the future, and we are to cooperate with you in the future.

[sound F/X: source diving] Ouch, I missed a lot of localization spots, apparently. We Apologize for the Inconvenience.™ Pushing out v17b.5 to cover those. [EDIT: Make that 17b.6. I thought that unilateral change from e.name to e:getName() in Go to Landmark looked suspicious…] (I'll skip making separate announcements for the affected component addons, since there are seventeen of them.)

As for the translations themselves, I think it would work better if you released those as a separate addon. I did a quick mock-up with the translations you provided, and an addon with just the data/locales files appears to work together with ZOmnibus to provide all the necessary translations — and it has the advantage of also working with any or all of the component addons separately. Plus it eliminates an extra step in the update cycle if a translation needs to be changed or added.

Hey zizzo.

I have a request/suggestion for the zizzo pack. I feel that this is in the right spirit, but if it isn't, no harm I hope.

At the moment, there is something in the code base that (re)centers the mouse cursor upon a number of circumstance. Shifting in and out of the app causes this, but it happens a lot more than that.

Could the (re)centering location be turned into a pref?

I would prefer to have the mouse (re)center itself to the far right hand edge where I don't have to see it. In other words, for my purposes, it doesn't need a general pref solution, just one which moves the mouse off to the far right edge or even the top right hand corner where it won't hurt any body.

The mouse also triggers a popup window describing the terrain under the mouse as a consequence of a change of focus. I have learned to use 'escape escape' to bring up the menu and go back, in order to make this popup go away as it obscures precious territory on my screen.

Blocking this or turning it on/off might be nice, but all I need is for it to not happen at the time that the mouse is initially repositioned. After that onMouseEnter (or whatever its called) can do what it likes. I mention this because it might be simpler to do.

Something like a pref that says, 'when the mouse cursor is first placed by the game, suppress display of the tooltip: true/false'

If its not sufficiently clear, I can be more precise.

You are taking us to interface nirvana and we are almost there.

Hmm, doesn't sound familiar; yes, more info would be useful. Whether I can do anything about it, of course, will depend heavily on exactly where in the code the behavior is implemented. And if I can do anything, it will probably start life as a separate addon, which will likely eventually be absorbed into ZOmnibus.
