Could you come up with a variant version that a:) doesn't use heavy armor, getting some benefit from light armor (perhaps a way to make light armor combat and use not require dex? maybe even doesn't have access to Combat Training!) in the class trees to make it worthwhile. b.) has some perk that enables shield use as buckler, with cunning or willpower, c.) is designed to work with this: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/more1hstaves and possibly also a fork of the wardstones part from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =201212271 (perhaps starting with a 1h staff and a wardstone?), maybe with an ability to turn non-unique shields into a wardstone, or 2h staff to a 1h staff? I'd be interested in a 'skirmisher' type High Guard, focused more on mobility and counterattacks and and dodging and 'subtle' defenses and such!

Those are certainly some ideas, and you are welcome to fork the add-on and create an variations of it you would like.

At this point I am only maintaining this class to preserve compatibility with version changes; I have no plans for any further development of it at this time. That's not to say it will definitely never happen, just that I only have so much time and energy for development, and it is currently focused on other projects with no plans to return to this one in the foreseeable future.

Glad you tried it out and found some inspiration in it :)
