New version is up.

All draconian tiles (both standard and ultimate) can now be used as custom tiles by donators (Requires 1.2)

Bunny Draconian's lucky strike now properly auto-hits (no more crazy accuracy abuse!). (Requires 1.2)

Shadow draconians heightened senses from shadow body is nerfed.

Racial mastery toned down to 1.0 to bring in line with other races.

Why can't sun pallies pick Silver? Physical + Light is their thing.

Probably because I haven't overhauled the typelist for sunpally yet. I've done this for a few classes, but it already seemed to be in something of a good place.

Probably slate this for the next version.

I've been having issues starting a Draconian character in 1.2. I'll get the sounds like the game started up when I hit the play button, but the UI just sits there and flickers instead of going to the actual gameplay. Any idea what may be going on? I tried starting a Furrae Werebeast to see if it was broken for all of my addons, but that worked, so it seems to just be Draconians.

Never mind--I deactivated a couple of the older addons I have and it worked fine.

How do you get the ultimate forms?

Do any of them get +size? (would be nice for said ultimate forms, maybe?)

I... don't remember +size, but I'll add that if it's not already there. They all get the same benefits, by default, which need work and rescaling. (increase in maxhp and max stamina)

As for other benefits, Razor, Golden, and Wind, at the least, alter their 4th talent to do something different in ultimate form. Golden gets to heal for the damage dealt, wind turns into a radius blast, instead of a cone, and razor adds bleeding explosions. Other reworks are being considered to make the ultimate form mean something more, though they'll probably come with nerfs to the base talents as well.

+ size would be fitting, and would make for some interesting gimmicks around size-related talents (defensively to cancel grapples, or offensively to go with you shall be my weapon, which does bonus damage on size.)

As for how to get the ultimate form, if you use 'channel power' and have more then X points (13 I think?) invested in your racials, spread out however you want, it'll temporarily place you in a tile-swapped version of your ultimate form.

Future versions will likely nerf the bonuses flat out, but let it scale more, while you can access this form at significantly less investment, but get more out of it if you're willing to push the racials to higher investment. That's for the future however.

So I'm playing a Razor Berserker Draconian, and am currently level 11 with rank 3 in Razor Spike Body. I don't as far as I can tell have any other source of "When hit" bleed, but my when hit bleed is 115. Awesome as someone who enjoys overpower, but probably not intended and not what the desc says.

Zen phys resist is a little misleading with the all resists veiling it and the tooltip needs to be updated that it's 1:2%. Sun paladins neeeeeeeeed steel so bad, they're primary healers with a bit of tank so resistances are really strong on them. Silver's ok for them.

that's... not too high I think. At that level your whirlwind hits for like 150~ if you have it at 3 right?

Are there any plans to add a subrace that can access Defiler classes? Fallen Draconians? Blood Dragon/Bone Dragon/Plague Dragon?

This is probably my most used addon, incidentally. :wink:

There are some vague plans for a second subrace of draconians (tentatively titled 'scions') which would be allowed access to defiler class types, but they're nothing but vague thoughts at the moment. (I've been away from coding/playing tome heavily for a while) If they carry through they'll likely have3 a different set of forms then standard draconians, and a different base racial to go with it.

(They'll also almost certainly be barred from the wilder class type.)

But it probably won't happen soon.

Hey so I'm wondering if this addon is still being developed or if it's dead in the water because it's one of the best addons I've ever seen and it would make me sad to not see it added onto.

It's not dead, but any progress is going to be slow, given what I need to do next. And there's a limit to how many dragon forms can be created anyway. The addon is still fully functional with the current version of tome, and no updates have been needed for a while. Please, continue to enjoy it as it is until I can manage to make the next step.
