Suggestion 1 I can do quite easily. Suggestion 2 makes quite a bit of sense. I did want to force the player to use them strategically but maybe I was punishing them too much.

beholders are evidently copyrighted, Wizards of the Coast considers beholders part of their 'product identity'

By the way, something about eye saturation...you could also make each eye have its own saturation/draining effect. That does add more effects to keep track off, but still think it would be nice.

That would make managing the debuff rather trival. Will release some stuff tomorrow that should make the beginning a bit more interesting :)

You can also buy staff combat and use channel staff if you are really having trouble with the cooldowns.

This is a more pleasing idea - the beholders/watchers as angelic creatures of sorts, only a bit on the chtulhian side :). Anyhow, we have agreed with ajfluffy first to finalize the addon with all subspecies and then to brainstorm its lore/copyright fundamentals.

Well, thank you, good Captain :)

How do you account for the central eys anti-magic ray cone? and the bite attack?

Bite on my Todo list. Anti magic cone works via central eye talents. You can only Target in cardinal directions.

Edit: have not added escorts... I keep forgetting :(

can we get some kind of information on Growth? I have no idea what it does besides make me "better". I don't know how much growth I currently have, how much I need, what stage I am, what each form actually does for me, etc.

Look at quest :)

Maybe I should put notes giving future benefits. Growths gives additional trees and stuff.

also uh...with lightning burst my lightning eye now has unlimited range. It will show as only having 6 tiles blue, but I can easily shoot something 10 tiles away

ring is cool, I see myself never taking this off.

Did you consider belts by chance? Having a crapload of rings is cool, but im pretty sure I could fit a belt around one of my tentacles or eyestalks as well

Haha yes actually I have :)

Edit: yeah, if you think its overpowered well not sure what to say there :P it is basically just a bit stronger than a base ring that's imbued.
