  • The class is now limited as to what enemies it can appear on, same as Gunslingers.
  • The addon has a translation into the Simplified Chinese locale thanks to Otowa Kotori!

The new version, 0.3.0, consists mostly of graphical improvements.
There is also a buff to Explosive Exit and a few code improvements.

Thanks to Rexorcoum, you can select a new look for your buggy and drones using the Customize button in character creation.

So, I enjoyed playing this one (got to lv20 and destroyed by some random unfortunately...)

There is one thing, though: the mecharachnid bomb flees when sufficiently damaged, which is not what I expected from a boom mechspider at all.... maybe change its AI routine to never flee?

You have some other addon with a broken regenLife function.
My guess is an out-of-date copy of Odyssey of the Summoner.

I'll add a check to make the error not spam people, but there will still be a hidden problem.

(Also don't use greenwatch; it causes archery bugs)

New update!

The class has a selection of 3 evolutions.

Mecharachnid mines shouldn't be cowards.
Blazing Trail can crit (per square)

[Droneslinger] CUN
The cooldown of hurricane drone and shroud drone is reduced by 10, and they count as explosive charges when you use Detonator.
You can sustain this talent to turbocharge your gunner drone, causing it to fire twice as often (drains 9 steam).
While Gunner Drone is sustained you count as wielding a steamgun with range equal to your gunner drone's range. While this talent is also sustained you count as dual-wielding.

[Death Race] DEX
When you use Ramming Speed, you automatically drop a mecharachnid mine at your starting position, stun the main target for 3 turns, and reset the cooldown of Full Throttle.
Your ride grants you an additional +40% movement speed, and Blazing Trail deals additional damage (based on your Defense).
When you kill an enemy, you throw any combustible bits into the boiler, recovering steam (based on your Dexterity).

[Getaway Drive] CON
Your ride carries a second, smaller ride for emergency purposes.
When you activate Explosive Exit, you instantly reactivate a ride with 2/3 normal hull.
This also triggers automatically if you would be knocked off your ride, but less effectively, leaving you only 1/3 normal hull.

50 turn cooldown.
